Overview
Superior SIP were engaged on a supply only project for a local developer in the Penarth area involving supplying our 200mm MgO SIP External Walls and Roof along with internal 150mm MgO SIP for an extension and roof conversion to allow vaulted ceilings along with internal re-design on a terrace house overlooking the bay. The project was an interesting development, working within a limited space and adding extra space to the property creating a spectacular room with sea views in a prime location within Penarth.
As part of the project brief we had to undertake full engineering, design, panelsiation and then supply of the SIP. The developer had their own install team who did an excellent job and we were able to oversee the operation and issue relevant sign off at stages to assist with this process. Client finished the extension with a silicone based render and direct skim to the inside with a slate roof and large windows on the roof conversion.
